E-books have become a part of our school planning, school routine, and school course work. I like the ability of having my books accessible on multiple devices and there is no excuse for forgetting a book!
Here are some of the ways to use E-books for school:
1. Load them on my iPad via iBooks. I like to get teacher’s manuals (if possible) as e-Books. I pull out my iPad while I teach or plan. Less items to cart around when teaching!
2. Load them in DropBox (this is my favorite way). Add the free DropBox app on your mobile devices and then you are able to access the files on your computer or any i-devices. I like this option because I can organize all my e-Books! I have made folders in general categories such as Homeschool, Health, Marriage, Cooking etc. Then I create sub-folders within those folders. This way I can easily find what I need!
This is why it is important to have a way to find everything! I just downloaded 91 eBooks for only $25! Goodness this is a deal! You can see all the books included in this sale here.
Another way to organize e-Books on your Kindle or Nook is to use a free program called Calibre. April from Holistic Homemaking has a post walking you through the steps to accomplish this.
3. I will admit though, that some e-Books I just have to be printed out. There’s something about physically highlighting text that inspires me or flipping through pages of a real book. So in those cases, my comb binding machine has been a tremendous help!
I use my comb binding machine to bind e-Books, create journals and blank books, to bind finished art projects, bind finished notebooking pages and more!
Since I hope many of you are going to take advantage of this awesome e-Book sale, I thought I’d offer a comb binding machine! Even if you are not a homeschooler, this e-Book deal is a steal for you too! There are all types of e-books from preschool learning to crock pot meals and couponing! Check out this list of 91 e-Books and special deals!
The comb binding machine is a $80 value! This giveaway is open to U.S. participants only. See the Rafflecopter widget below to enter.
